June 2025, Tell the bees, we have been advised that David Miksa (80), a cornerstone of Florida Beekeeping and queen rearing has passed. Our sincere condolence, please keep his whole family in your hearts and wish them strength with their loss.
It is with a heavy hearts we inform you of the passing of Bill Crawford, 35, from Massachusetts died on 6/5/2025 after an accident early Wednesday 6/4/2025 morning 6/4/2025, for more details.
Bill was appointed to the ABF board in 2024 and had served as the Massachusetts State Delegate for many years. He also served as the Vice-President for the Massachusetts Beekeeping Association. He was a huge advocate for our industry and ABF, very energetic and dynamic, always smiling and willing to help anyone.
He was struck while offloading bees on the side off the road and he leaves behind a wife and a young family. If you can, support for his family, is appreciated through the go fund me linked below.
